Certain keys ( ?F6) would press repeatedly for no apparent reason … and then stop … and then start again … randomly (or seemingly so). I have had issues with both the X52 and the X52 Pro when using the Saitek profiler programming software as a keyboard emulator. Those difficulties come, primarily, from the the keypress conversion in between the button press and the program callback. But that added keypress emulation may have potential issues in creating shifted functions, or in using functions that have different behavior for short-press and long-press, or pressing two buttons at the same time. The alternative is to associate each button/switch to a keyboard press and then associate the keypress to one of the program callbacks. DX associates one of those program commands directly to a button or switch. for example, SimTMSUp, or SimMissileStep. BMS has a large number of program ‘call backs’, each of which executes some function …. To disable clutch mode, click the X52 SST tray icon and select Control Panel. In this profile it is used for wheel brakes and airbrake and not clutch mode. ![]() I use a Saitek X52 with the Logitech Software and so far it does what it needs. This will allow the i button to function as a standard mappable button. For this profile to work correctly you will also need to disable Clutch mode mode in the Saitek control panel.
